About the Blogger

Nicole Felicity is a twenty-two year old university student in New York City. She is currently in an undergraduate program, looking to get her Bachelor’s degree in theological studies: faith and culture in May of 2016. Ever since forgoing a life-changing intro to New Testament course, her area of scholarly interest (though existent for most world religion) lies with early-Christianity in Antiquity (the Graeco-Roman world). However, she will, for the next two semesters, be giving a large amount of time and energy to the completion of her senior thesis: an in depth analyse of television representations of Abrahamic Angelologies and how they promote interfaith dialogue. She likes to think of herself as an Angelologist in-training, and would be over the moon if her university provided a concentration solely in the field of researching angels. However, it doesn’t, and she attempts to play well with the cards dealt; choosing to compliment her degree with a minor in International Humanitarian Affairs instead. The hope is to further educate herself in the actual concentration of “faith and culture” while staying current on global developments. Though a blog dedicated to spirituality, Nicole is passionate about the care-taking of humanity; the two of which she believes are interlinked in a natural, inseparable bond.

Beyond academics, she is completely smitten with anything related to the supernatural. She grew up with parents who are forever curious about the paranormal; constantly watching television, movies, and documentary specials (she remembers when the series Supernatural premiered), picking up information books of notoriously haunted attractions and structures, and even sometimes going out of the way to visit such places in person.

It really is no surprise that their three children adopted the interest with them.

Though future write-ups will better describe these events, curiosity about the afterlife was always encouraged in her household. Halloween was, and still is, a month-long celebration, and anytime is an appropriate time to discuss beliefs and the possibility of spiritual encounters.  This website exists as a safe-place to further discuss these thoughts and experiences with a broader community. She created this site (the creation of which is a long awaited achievement of its own) to fill with anecdotes, broad questions, pictures, and fascinating tidbits picked up along the way.

Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the journey and pop in to share the realm with her.

  2. There are lots of unusual things to make a person curious in this world.

Thanks for following my blog! I hope if you can find the time that you will stop by my page called “Reasons to Smile” and leave a comment. It’s a list of things people are thankful for, just to encourage each other. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
